Mark Evans – Partner
Mark’s a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with 35 years of experience in consultancy, development and contracting.
Before joining IRP, Mark spent five years as Commercial Director in a contracting business, giving him a strong understanding of both the commercial and project management sides of the industry.
He brings a wealth of knowledge in Employer’s Agent and Project Management roles, specialising in JCT, NEC and PPC contracts.
Mark’s deep understanding of client requirements and practical experience ensures projects are delivered efficiently and smoothly.
Gareth Thomas – Partner
Gareth is also a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and Chartered Construction Project Manager (MCIOB) with 20 years of experience across multiple sectors, including residential, leisure, defence and retail.
Having worked for both consultancy and client-side organisations, Gareth offers a balanced perspective to project delivery.
His experience includes managing large-scale affordable housing projects and working directly with Registered Social Landlords (RSLs).
Gareth’s leadership in Project Management and Employer’s Agent roles helps to ensure that every project meets its objectives while remaining on track and within budget.

Founded in 1957, we are one of the oldest established firms of Chartered Quantity Surveyors in Swansea. Throughout its history, the firm has been responsible for providing varied professional services, not only throughout South and West Wales but often in countries far over seas.
